Meet Our Team

Holly Dai

Founder and Producer

Holly Dai
Portland’s long legged lovely debuted in 2009 alongside the Rose City Shimmy. She founded the very first school in Oregon to teach burlesque and has been teaching since 2010. Notable performances include the Windy City Burlesque Festival; Chicago Illinois, The Great Burlesque Exposition awarded Most Classic 2011; Boston Massachusetts, The Las Vegas Burlesque Festival. Holly Dai has toured the West Coast performing in Seattle, Oakland, Ventura, and San Diego, California to name a few. She’s taught classes for the Portland belly dance convention JamBallah and has been accepted to teach classes for the national convention for burlesque instruction, BurlyCon.

Lola Coquette

Producer

Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Lola Couquette is a multi-award winning international showgirl and instructor. Although Lola is wildly known for classic bump & grind and Latin fusion, she shakes it up with comedic timing, nerdlesque antics and powerful cultural storytelling. Lola is an instructor of the art of tease and Latin fusion, a member of the classic revival troupe, The Bees’ Knees Burlesque Revue and a regular cast member in Papermoon Cabaret. She has heated up stages and festival lineups coast to coast across the United States. This fiery showgirl recently made her international debut in Australia. Lola has been a feature and headlining performer in a handful of POC awareness showcases including headlining 2018 International Latin and Hispanic Burlesque Festival in Orlando and headlining the 2nd Annual National Hispanic Showcase in Cleveland in 2018.

RiRi SynCyr

Producer

Originally hailing from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and founder of the original BurlesqueFests.Com spreadsheet in 2010, RiRi SynCyr has worked with and studied under some of the biggest names and legends in burlesque. Her passion for continuing education extends to her role as Director of Development for BurlyCon. She currently calls Portland, Oregon her home and loves keeping it weird alongside her PNW familia.

Kissy LaMay

Stage Manager

Kissy LaMay is the stage manager for the Oregon Burlesque Festival. After a lifetime of acting, dancing, and singing lessons, she paraded into burlesque 6 years ago and never looked back. She has performed in festivals across the country and can regularly be found onstage in Portland, Oregon where she lives and works. She is 1/3rd of the Bees Knees Revue, a burlesque troupe known for keeping it classically weird with their vintage-inspired dance routines. Kissy is also the newest instructor at All That Glitters Burlesque Academy. In addition to stage managing for the Oregon Burlesque Festival, she is also the stage manager for Portland's long-running classic burlesque show, Papermoon Cabaret. Whether she's picking up panties or dropping them herself, Kissy's bubbly charm will enchant you!
